Looking to rise with a challenge? Use your talent and passion to help improve safety for the research community at UW-Madison. The ChemManager+ project is looking for a talented communications and change professional to lead our institution-wide communications efforts to inform impacted individuals about the project and prepare them for change. As a member of our friendly, supportive, and dynamic project team, you will use a variety of platforms to disseminate timely and pertinent project information to multiple audiences across a complex organization.

As the communications and change manager for the ChemManager+ project, you will develop and execute communications and communications programs to support the deployment of a chemical inventory system across the research enterprise community at UW-Madison. You understand that organizational change requires individual change, and you know how to develop communications that build awareness and desire for change in your target audience.

You will grow and learn with us as a core member of the project team to produce a variety of communications products, including, but not limited to, written articles, emails, newsletters, audio and video materials, and website content. You will disseminate exciting and engaging content through email, webinars, seminars, and workshops. You will also host information sessions, give presentations, and generally support the project’s communications and change management needs. To be a successful candidate, you will need to demonstrate a successful track record in developing communications that can be adapted for different audiences. You will need excellent interpersonal skills, along with experience using a wide range of communications tools and platforms. The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines is crucial.

The anticipated project end date is December 2024; this end date may be extended but will not exceed 2 years in duration. We will provide help, guidance, and support for whatever role you want to tackle next.
